Retaliation

If an employer fires or takes adverse action against an employee because the employee was injured at work and claimed the benefits of workers’ compensation, the employee may have a claim of retaliation under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, New Jersey Statute Annotated § 10:5-1, et seq. and under New Jersey Statute Annotated § 34:15-39.1.
